Afghan or Moroccan Snaphaunce Rifle, pecking cock flintlock. 48.5'' barrel taper from wider octagonal breech end, calibre approx .550, copper band runs along the barrel, bound with 8 broad iron bands, iron ramrod below stock and butt decorated with bone inlay and metal pins, overall length approx 65.5'', early 19thC.
Screw missing from lock plate. Lock not working. Pitting to outside of barrel. Clean condition.
